Inter Miami returns to South Florida for a few days before going back on the road to play the New York Red Bulls this weekend in the match that was postponed in July due to inclement weather.
Meanwhile, defender/midfielder Christian Makoun will be representing the Herons on the international stage with the Venezuelan national team in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers.
Monday & Tuesday - Off
Inter Miami players will take Monday, October 4, and Tuesday, October 5 to rest and recharge following a busy last week away from home.
Wednesday - Training
The boys are back at the Inter Miami CF Training Center on Wednesday, October 6 as they prepare for its third consecutive game on the road.
Thursday - Training and Heron Talk: Neville and Shea; Makoun and Venezuela vs. Brazil
Following their training session, head coach Phil Neville and defender/midfielder Brek Shea will address the media for their weekly pregame press conference on Thursday, October 7. Stay tuned to the Club’s channels to follow their comments.
On the international stage, defender/midfielder Makoun will be representing the Herons with the Venezuelan national team as La Vinotinto takes on Brazil at Estadio Olímpico de la UCV in Caracas, Venezuela, in a CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier. Makoun could be making his debut with the senior squad.
Friday - Training and Travel
Inter Miami will have one final training session on Friday, October 8 before traveling to New Jersey ahead of Saturday’s clash.
Saturday - New York Red Bulls vs. Inter Miami CF
Inter Miami will take on the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, October 9 at 6 p.m. ET at Red Bull Arena. This match was originally scheduled to be played in July earlier this season, but was postponed due to inclimate weather. The game will be broadcast locally on Univision and TUDN, and will also be available on Twitter.
Additionally, fans can go to a select Wendy’s location for a free outdoor watch party to support Inter Miami in its travels.
Sunday - Team Off; Christian Makoun and Venezuela vs. Ecuador
Following the game, Inter Miami players will rest on Sunday, October 10. In the meantime, be sure to catch Makoun in his potential feature for Venezuela as they take on Ecuador in a CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier at the Estadio Olímpico de la UCV in Caracas, Venezuela at 4:30 p.m. ET.
