Inter Miami CF Academy players Tyler Austin, Justin Ellis and Santiago Morales have been called up to the U.S. Under-15 Men’s Youth National Team. The trio will join a 36-player roster to participate in training camp in Chula Vista, California.Â
With three Academy products called up, Inter Miami is tied for the most participating players in the camp.
The camp will run from Jan. 7 to Jan.14 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista. It’s the first traditional training camp for this age group since March 2020, before the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be held in accordance with U.S. Soccer’s comprehensive Return to Play protocols.
Austin, Ellis and Morales join the list of current and former Inter Miami CF Academy players to be called up to a national team, including Edison Azcona, who has been called up to the Dominican national team at the youth and senior levels, Felipe Valencia, who has been called up to a U.S. U-15 Boys’ National Team camp, Logan Batiste and Tyler Hall, who have been called up to the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team for the UEFA Development Tournament, and others.
