- Inter Miami enters the game in search of keeping the team's positive momentum going after winning its past four matches across all competitions, two on the road and two at home. The team most recently defeated Atlanta United 2-1 last Saturday in MLS action and topped the Charleston Battery 1-0 on Wednesday in the Round of 32 of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
- Josef MartÃnez's brace at DRV PNK Stadium in the 2-1 win over Atlanta last weekend not only saw the forward notch his first goals for the Club, as he became the fastest player to score 100 MLS regular season goals, reaching the mark in 142 matches.
- Tonight’s meeting against the New England Revolution will be the first of two between the sides in the 2023 MLS regular season. Last time both sides clashed at DRV PNK Stadium was last year on April 9, with Inter Miami winning 3-2 in a thriller in which striker Leonardo Campana bagged the first hat trick in Club history.
- Victor Ulloa has a historic mark in sight, as the midfielder is just one appearance away from being the player with most MLS appearances in Club history. Ulloa is currently tied with former Inter Miami forward Gonzalo HiguaÃn on 68 overall league appearances.
- Defender Noah Allen features in a matchday squad for the first time this season after recovering from injury.
- The match may present reunions with a former Inter Miami player, defender Christian Makoun. The Venezuelan was on the team's roster for the Club's historic inaugural season in 2020.
- The New England based-side comes into the match after falling 0-1 against USL Championship team Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Tuesday in the Round of 32 of the U.S. Open Cup and defeating Toronto FC 0-2 on the road last weekend in MLS action.
