Inter Miami CF prepares to face the New England Revolution this Saturday in a rematch of the April 9 game that started the team’s current four match winning streak. Seeking to add another victory to the franchise-record winning streak, goalkeeper Nick Marsman reflected on how he has seen the confidence of the squad grow.

“I think what I mentioned then was that we worked hard, we started talking a lot with each other and we were searching for our momentum and I think that's where it started,” said Marsman referring to the team’s approach ahead of the previous clash against the Revs. “We had a lot of team chemistry, we put it all together and then it was waiting for the result. When we finally got a result, you saw the confidence growing.”

The Dutch goalkeeper also mentioned how he believes the team’s confidence shows up in matches now.

“You can see I think in the games, we are working very hard all together to keep a compact formation. I think the basics were already there only now we do it with more confidence and we are getting rewards for it. So that always helps,” he added.

Head coach Phil Neville echoed the thoughts of Marsman, noting that the team has to remain humble ahead of Saturday’s match.

“Every game is another brick in the foundation, and now we need to remain really humble, keep our feet on the ground and keep improving every single game,” said Neville.
