DRV PNK Stadium Thrillers

Inter Miami will be seeking its third home win of the season when it takes on FC Dallas on Saturday after narrowly falling 1-0 on the road to FC Cincinnati in its past match. Overall, the team has registered two wins in its three previous 2023 MLS regular season games at DRV PNK Stadium and has scored two goals per match for a total six goals in three home outings.

First and Only 2023 MLS Regular Season Matchup Against Dallas

Saturday’s meeting will be the only one between the sides this season. Last time the team took on FC Dallas, Inter Miami scored a late equalizer through a Leonardo Campana goal following a beautifully crafted assist by Robert Taylor to earn a point on the road with a 1-1 draw in July of last year.

Additionally, midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro scored the team's only other goal against Dallas in a visit to Toyota Stadium in 2020.

Familiar Faces

Inter Miami midfielder Victor Ulloa could face his former side on Saturday. Ulloa was signed as FC Dallas’ first Homegrown Player in franchise history before going on to make 173 appearances across all competitions between 2011 and 2018, tallying six goals and seven assists and helping the team clinch the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup title and the 2016 Supporters’ Shield.

Additionally, several USMNT teammates may clash as well, with Inter Miami's DeAndre Yedlin and FC Dallas' Paul Arriola, Sebastian Lletget and Jesús Ferreira ready for action.

Lastly, Inter Miami assistant coach Jason Kreis is regarded as an FC Dallas legend. Kreis started his tenure at the club in 1996 and left in 2004. Throughout his eight years in Dallas, he made 247 appearances with the club and scored 91 goals.

Milestones Ahead

Several Inter Miami players have milestones in sight, with goalkeeper Drake Callender, defender Yedlin, midfielder Victor Ulloa and forward Josef Martínez nearing MLS career appearance milestones.

Callender has made 47 overall MLS appearances, Martínez 149 and Yedlin has 95 regular season appearances. Ulloa, meanwhile, has registered 246 total appearances in the league and 67 Inter Miami club appearances, placing him just one appearance away from equalling Gonzalo Higuaín as the player with the all-time most appearances for the Club in the league.

National Autism Awareness Month Recognition at DRV PNK Stadium

Inter Miami will be welcoming back Autism Soccer to DRV PNK Stadium for the second year in observance of National Autism Awareness Month. 15 young athletes from Autism Soccer will be taking the pitch pre-match at 6:30 p.m. ET to do a skills showcase and practice ahead of the first FC Dallas game.

Autism Soccer is a program created to promote social inclusion, integration and development of children and adolescents with special needs, utilizing soccer as a tool to fight against physical inactivity, premature obesity and monotony in the lives of these kids. Inter Miami CF and the Inter Miami CF Foundation are happy to team up once again to raise awareness and give these kids an unforgettable experience as they take the pitch at DRV PNK Stadium to do what they love, play fútbol!

Scouting FC Dallas

Dallas, meanwhile, enters the match after drawing 1-1 tie on the road against the Portland Timbers last weekend. Overall in 2023, the Texas-based side has collected eight points and has a record of two wins, two losses and two draws, and has registered no wins on the road.
