This Sunday, Inter Miami CF II (4W-15L-5D, 18 points) will be back in South Florida to face off against Columbus Crew 2 (13W-8L-3D, 45 points) for the second time this 2023 MLS NEXT Pro regular season. This matchday 25 fixture will kick off at 2 p.m. ET at DRV PNK Stadium.
Miami will enter Sunday’s match in search of kicking off the month of September on a high note following a hard fought 2-2 draw against Huntsville City FC in the team’s most recent match. The draw featured a first professional career goal for 17-year-old Academy product Tyler Hall as well as a late equalizer from forward Cameron Johnson to force the game into penalties.
Columbus, on the other hand, will visit DRV PNK Stadium after recently falling 4-1 to Orlando City B on the road last Sunday.
Sunday’s meeting will be the second and last between the sides this regular season as the last time these two teams met, Inter Miami II narrowly fell 3-2 at Historic Crew Stadium in late April.
