Inter Miami CF will visit Orlando City SC in the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup Round of 16 on Wednesday, May 25. Kickoff at Exploria Stadium is set for 7 p.m. ET.
Inter Miami advanced to the Round of 16 in the single-elimination tournament after wins over USL League One side South Georgia Tormenta FC and USL Championship team Miami FC. In the club’s first-ever Open Cup match, the team defeated Miami FC 0-1 at FIU Stadium on April 19 in the Third Round led by a Leonardo Campana winner. Then, on May 10, Inter Miami earned its fifth victory in the last seven matches by defeating South Georgia Tormenta FC 3-1 in the Round of 32 in the first-ever Open Cup match played at DRV PNK Stadium, thanks to an Ariel Lassiter brace and a Robbie Robinson goal.
