UniMás 69 and WQBA 1140 AM to broadcast games in 2020
Miami, Fla. (April 30, 2020) - Inter Miami CF announced today that it has partnered with Univision Miami, a part of Univision Communications Inc., to broadcast games locally on UniMás Miami 69, WQBA 1140 AM and streamed live on Uforia and Univision 23 apps for the 2020 Major League Soccer season.
A revised broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date.

Prior to the temporary season suspension, Inter Miami launched its historic inaugural season with two road games on March 1st at LAFC and March 7th at D.C. United. The Club has many firsts to look forward to, including hosting its first-ever home game, debuting the new Inter Miami CF Stadium and producing its first locally-broadcast match with familiar faces in the booth.
Members of Inter Miami’s local Univision broadcast include soccer analyst Diego Balado, reporter and narrator Nicolás Cantor, host and commentator Tony Cherchi, commentator Daniel Nohra, host and play-by-play narrator Ramses Sandoval and play-by-play narrator and commentator Luis Omar Tapia.

Diego Balado (@DiegoBalado)
The Argentine native began his soccer journalism career at 16, while enrolled in the prestigious high school "Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires”. He is widely recognized in Mexico, South and Central America for his narrations of UEFA Champions League, Euro Cup, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Liga MX, MLS, Copa Libertadores, Copa America, Gold Cup and World Cup matches for ESPN. He has been a sports commentator for Univision since 2016.
Nicolás Cantor (@Nicocantor1)
The 26-year-old native of Miami with Argentinian and Honduran roots has covered two World Cups, three Copa Americas and countless Gold Cups amongst other important international tournaments. His areas of expertise include play-by-play, color commentary and beat reporting in both English and Spanish. Cantor began his career at 15 years old covering international friendlies and the Gold Cup. By 20, he covered his first World Cup.

After interviewing Brazilian football legend Pelé for his first-ever assignment, Cherchi’s career took off, becoming one of Venezuela’s most respected sports journalists. He has featured in his home country’s top stations before joining ESPN Deportes for 11 years and becoming one of the most reliable hosts in the chain’s primetime show SportsCenter. Currently Cherchi hosts TUDN’s Mision Europa, participates in Línea de Cuatro and Futbol Central and is an analyst in various soccer tournaments including Liga MX, MLS and European competitions. His vast experience includes covering coveted sports events like the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the NBA Finals and the MLB World Series.

The Venezuelan native was discovered by a local radio station after narrating his own match on PlayStation at the age of 11. A year later he began to narrate European soccer matches on radio and got his first shot at TV for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany on the regional channel Orinoco TV. Since then, Nohra has narrated the 2010 and 2014 World Cups and the 2011 Copa America tournament. In the summer of 2015, he came to the U.S. working regionally in Florida as a sports commentator. He then covered two German Bundesliga seasons prior to joining the TUDN team.
Ramses Sandoval (@RamsesSandoval)
The California native of Mexican roots began his career as the official voice of the Chivas USA team on TV and radio. He has commentated for a vast array of soccer properties across the Italian Soccer League, Premier League, Liga MX and MLS. He has an Emmy for outstanding work with Time Warner, and in 2014, he became the first bilingual narrator of MLS games for Univision Deportes, now referred to as TUDN. Today, Ramses continues to narrate MLS games in English and Spanish for TUDN, while now also narrating U.S. MNT, Bundesliga, Copa MX and Liga MX matches. Currently, he also serves as a host in Contacto Deportivo, Somos MLS and Zona NBA.

- A Chilean journalist with a long national and international career, Tapia has featured in some of Latin America’s most followed television chains. Following his career debut over 30 years ago with Telemundo Channel 13 in Hartford, CT, Tapia joined TV Azteca Mexico in 2006 where he became the first foreigner to report the Liga MX and Mexican national team matches, the Gold Cup, Copa America and UEFA Champions League. Tapia then was exclusively responsible for the UEFA Champions League in Fox Sports Latin America before bringing his talents to TUDN in 2013. Since then, the Chilean has participated in the shows Misión Europa, Línea de Cuatro, Contacto Deportivo and Futbol Central as well as has narrated the world’s best football leagues.
