Inter Miami CF is proud to participate in the EduCup Challenge, an initiative that keeps students engaged in their studies while keeping them safe. The program, co-created by EVERFI in partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS) and some of the other world’s top sports leagues, encourages students to use any number of the eight digital courses and showcase their knowledge through a series of related social media challenges.
As members of the EduCup Team South, Inter Miami CF Academy players are invited to participate in the challenge while encouraging other students to do the same. Students who take part in EduCup 2020 and are a team member of the winning region will be eligible to win a $2,500 college scholarship or other prizes.
MLS is representing the Actions Matter course, a leadership development and bullying prevention program for middle and high school students. Other topics include STEM, reading, math, and character development.
To participate, a student should choose their course at https://everfi.com/educup-challenge#choose-course and complete at least one lesson. Once a lesson is completed, a student may submit their information here to be entered for a chance to win a scholarship or another prize. Students are also encouraged to participate in the daily social challenges available here.
The EduCup also provides an opportunity for friendly competition between professional sports leagues and teams, as the region with the most participants will be crowned the winner of the EduCup.
