Club to hold a moment of silence before tonight’s match; Players to wear black armbands and stand in solidarity with our community members affected by this tragedy
MIAMI (June 25, 2021) -- Yesterday, our community was struck by tragedy when a residential building collapsed in Surfside in the early hours of the morning resulting in fatalities and many more are still missing.
In light of yesterday’s tragedy , Inter Miami is donating $10,000 to the Support Surfside Relief Fund. We ask that you keep those affected in your prayers. If you are able to donate, please visit SupportSurfside.org
In addition, the team will wear black armbands to commemorate those affected. We ask fans in attendance to keep your cell phone lights on and join us in a moment of silence as we stand in solidarity with those who have lost their lives, and those who are still missing during the pre-game presentation.
The match will kickoff at 8 p.m. ET and will broadcast nationally on FS1 and FOX Deportes.
