After making history by becoming one of the first two players in Club history to reach the 100 appearances milestone for Inter Miami CF in the team’s 3-1 victory over Toronto FC, winger Robert Taylor took a moment to reminisce over his top five moments since joining the Club.

5. Playing With Nephew on the Pitch at Chase Stadium

There’s nothing that equals sharing special moments with your loved ones. For Taylor, getting to play with his nephew on the pitch at Chase Stadium is a memory that he will cherish forever.

4. Volley Against the Philadelphia Union

If there is something that Taylor knows a thing or two about, it’s scoring bangers. The versatile winger has scored his fair share of world-class goals since signing for the Club in 2022, but his volley at Chase Stadium against the Union on March 4, 2023 is the pick of the bunch.

3. Afonso Wins it for Inter Miami on the Road Against the Philadelphia Union While Playing Two Men Down

Nothing tops an underdog moment. On June 15, 2024, Inter Miami was playing with two men down on the road against the Philadelphia Union with the match tied 1-1 and just moments to go. It seemed as if the scoreline would remain unmoved when suddenly, Academy product Leo Afonso stepped up to become the hero on the night with a key late winner for Inter Miami to return to South Florida with all three points.

2. First 2023 Leagues Cup Match With Messi’s Club Debut and Late Winner

Who could forget the team’s first match en route to claiming the 2023 Leagues Cup title? The 2-1 win over LIGA MX side Cruz Azul on July 23, 2023 was one for the books, with captain Lionel Messi making his official debut and getting his Inter Miami career started with a bang, scoring a fantastic free-kick in the fourth minute of added time to secure the win.

1. Winning the 2023 Leagues Cup Title in Nashville

On August 19 2023, Inter Miami defeated Nashville SC in penalties in the final of the 2023 Leagues Cup after a 1-1 draw in regulation to claim the Club’s first-ever title, with Taylor being a main fixture in the team throughout the competition.
