The Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health is all set to compete in Major League Soccer’s 2023 Generation adidas Cup taking place from April 1 to April 9 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. Hosted in partnership with MLS NEXT, the tournament will feature 49 different clubs from 12 countries and four continents in U-15 and U-17 categories, and will provide our Academy players the opportunity to test their skills in an world-class international competitive setting.

Last year, the tournament was held in Frisco, Texas, with Inter Miami’s U-15 and U-17 sides having successful runs in the competition. The Academy’s U-15 team faced off against the likes of MLS academy Sporting Kansas City, English club Manchester United and Mexican team Pumas U.N.A.M in the group stage. Inter Miami would go on to finish second after recording a win and two draws. Inter Miami CF’s U-17 team, meanwhile,  advanced to the knockout rounds and went on to earn a spot in the tournament’s semifinals.

Similar to the previous season’s edition, this year each team will play three group stage matches within their age groups. Inter Miami CF’s 2023 Generation adidas Cup schedule is as follows:
