Yesterday evening, League Series One presented by Coca Cola was back in action with day 3 of the eMLS qualifiers, seeing Inter Miami CF’s eSports athlete IMCFPabs hold on to a top spot in the standings with a commanding win over the San Jose Earthquakes, two draws against the Seattle Sounders FC and New York City FC, who were ranked #1 in the standings going into the match, and a loss against Austin FC.
Day 3 Results:
Game 1 vs. Austin FC: 6-1 Loss
Game 2 vs. New York City FC: 2-2 Draw
Game 3 vs. San Jose Earthquakes: 6-2 Win
Game 4 vs. Seattle Sounders FC: 4-4 Draw
League Series One Qualifiers Standings:
IMCFPabs is currently placed 6th (out of 27) in the eMLS standing at the end of the third day of qualifiers, only dropping one spot from his results last week. He has two remaining matches this evening where he will fight to stay among the top 8 ranked in the leaderboards, which would earn him a place in the League Series One Knockout Round this weekend and an opportunity to continue competing for the official League Series One trophy, a cash prize of $15K and earning an eMLS Cup 2021 berth for Inter Miami.
