Inter Miami CF has been selected to join Group A of the MLS is Back Tournament, joining Orlando City SC as representatives in the six-team group as part of the league’s decision to restart the season in the state of Florida. The clubs will face off in the opening match of the tournament on July 8.
Major League Soccer will today hold a live draw to determine the rest of the group assignments for each of the remaining teams in advance of the MLS is Back Tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The tournament schedule, including specific matchup dates and full broadcast details, will be announced at a later date.
The live draw can be watched live via our new Tournament page, as well as MLSsoccer.com and the official MLS Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts. Representatives from each of the six top-seeded teams will participate in the draw to determine the tournament groups.
