MIAMI (August 9, 2019) – Eighteen U-17/U-18 Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami Academy players will open its preseason training camp with an international tournament in South Korea this weekend, becoming the first to play an official match for the Club.
Senior Academy Director and Head Coach for the U-23s, Jason Kreis, will coach the players in the 2019 K League U-17 Championship alongside assistant coaches Brian Haynes and Nicholas Chase from August 11-20.
“The K league presented us with a great opportunity to start training camp early and take our players to an international tournament,” said Paul McDonough, Inter Miami CF’s sporting director. “Our goal is to provide as many resources and opportunities for the players to help them develop and grow within our Academy system, and this was a step in the right direction.”
